Hi pete nothing very clever I just put two cuts into the plastic parallel to eachother (not all the way through) then heated up a sewing needle(one of the missus, but we will keep that strictly between us, lest certain vital body parts go missing) and Doug it in and then pulled bits of the plastic up between the two cuts then I just mixed up a colour that looked like the sponge stuffing in the seat and painted that over the raised bits of plastic (I did think about cutting thin stripes of gaffer tape and making it look like a bodged repair(may even still do that) like I said nothing very clever.

Hey Ken, I just love the little attentions to detail you give your bikes.
Tape round the mirrors, ripped seats, weathering and grime......awesome!

As soon as I find one or have time to scratch build a GSXR600K1 its going to be a replica of my old track day bike.....race fairing, stickers and crash damage.
