Thought I might have a go at this model, sitting in my stash.
This version has a Cloaking Device, with an added support to display.

Thanks for looking.

OMG this is just wierd, so let's try putting this together.

Well from the start I'm not worried about the internal detail.

The rest of the detail I like. The fit is not great but a bit of sanding will help.

This is what I want..

So in for a primer coat of Vallejo Surface Primer...

...and leave to dry.

note how quick that internal pod was done....to be honest you're not going to see it. It's the external Cloaking detail I'm more interested in...

..more later.

Now I couldn't let you all have the fun on your own.
It's just a token of being involved, and trying a different technique. ..if it works. [wink]

As Jessica famously said..."I'm not bad, I was just drawn that way."
I'm only really doing this one to lighten my stash.

Just a quick update...

Gave the body a coat of Light Grey Blue, once dry a coat of Acrylic Gloss.
Left overnight to set dry and then a wash of Flory Dark Dirt. Half an hour later rub off unwanted wash with a damp cloth, added some colour detail and dry brushed with Game Colour Light Grey to highlight edges and areas.

Now the wings...all those lovely black panels...note I'm not going all the way toward the back section.

Thanks for looking.

Let's get on towards that finish...so blue screen..let's see how she looks. ..

...and so back to reality to finish her off...with something to change all this, if it doesn't work then it's back...to somewhere far, far, far...you get the story...

Thanks for looking.
