First of all: happy 2018!!!

I wasn't sure if I should post a final reveal as the model isn't actually finished. I wanted to make a nice diorama base for this one but run out of time to do so. Anyhow, the kit turned out quite nice so I decided to share it with you guys. The Wave kit is a joy to build and as you probably can see I had a lot of fun with painting the two Maschinenkrieger. Painting the figures on the other hand was quite a challenge for me (more practice needed).

So here are the pictures. I hope you like them [smile].

Thank you very much Paul, very nice of you and much appreciated! Yeah, I am pretty pleased with the figures. Some of them look good... if you don’t look too close ;-).
I’m glad I was able to post something. Only three final posts makes me a little sad. But I’m a positive person and I’m sure the big scale GB will be fun!

Fabian,
So glad that you posted the pictures. Beautiful work all round. The weathering and figures as well as the “story” of the build. Really cool! Great pictures too!

:-). Was a nice little surprise for Isa. She’s great but scale modeling is not here bigger interest, lol.
I hope you’re joining the big scale GB, are you? I’m in with a very nice Bird Dog by Roden in 1/32 scale. Really looking forward to build this kit :-)

Just a great work, Fabian, wow. And to be honest, I don't miss the diorama, just because this allows to have a closer look on all these details [smile]. Very good arrangements of the figures on the different pictures as well [thumb].

Well, I'm not sure whether I should join already as I'm not such an experienced modeller yet.
Even if I've got a 1/24 Hawker Hurricane (my favorite WWII plane anyways) in my growing stash. Hmmm... ;-).

I will be watching the large scale GB but not participating. I have several projects that I really need to finish and........one of my sons gave me some sci-if kits he has had in storage. I’m drooling over one right now.

Yep, just kidding ;-). Just have to take some pictures in the very next days to open my thread.
Seems that I start earlier with such a challenge than expected [crazy] ...
