This is a side project that Dad and I started some months back. Its still waiting for some nicer weather to continue working on the body. Future plans include scratch building a power brake booster and any other goodies that should be under the hood.

Mind you, this is no KPnuts super realistic mega build. This is just supposed to be a concept build for the 1:1 car that is sitting in Dad's driveway.

Emblems are all hand painted to match what's actually on the car. Yep, that's what tthey really look like. [smile]

We're using the kits rims, but those are AM tires. Had to adjust the suspension to make the stance look "just a little agressive" like we like'em.

The engine is stock kit, except for the scratch built MSD distributor with plug wires. I will scratch build the MSD ignition module on the firewall later. Both are a necessity for modern Hot Rodders. [wink]

Went to high school with a guy who had a gremlin. ALL THAT GLASS! I was afraid to get in it in case it wrecked and the glass shattered.

That sounds more like the Pacer lol. Often described as a solarium or aquarium, on wheels.

Lol!
Was really funny, is Dad and I went an picked up a '75 Gremmy this afternoon. Its also a pile, but it runs and is a much more solid base to start from. It even has a '76 Gremmy X grill on it just like the model lol!

Real life has just ended up reflecting art.
