Forgot to post the little extras I got...
Of course the proper marking :-)

Some very nice additions for the cockpit. Glad I got the seats, the kit ones don't look so great.

And some PE, just for the fun of it ;-)

And a book with lots en lots of pictures :-)

Like those big 1/32 jets! [smile] But F-18 a little in the shadow of such iconic planes as F-15, F-14, and F-16. Nice to see building of this model.

The plan was to finish an other build first but couldn't wait. Cleared the bench and started with the interior of the nose section. With so many sprues, a 40 page manual and 4 PE sets I think it's saver to do this step by step. Prepared pieces of the cockpit and the nose wheel bay. The details of this kit looks fantastic. Also cut the resin seats of the block and taking care of some ejector pin marks. Nothing to exciting but I'm having fun :-)

That must be it ;-). I checked my references and they all have a thrust lever on the left side and no joysticks. My kit probably features a special version? Found a second thrust lever on the sprue so should be an easy fix. Thanks for your sharpness Gadjung :-)

We're talking about the rear seat right ?
I'm not sure but if were to hazard a guess the central stick is obviously primary flight controls, the right stick is probably for bomb aiming and the left might be used for a visually guided missile, or a simple variation on the throttle lever ?

Just guesses but here's the F18 flight manual just in case your curiosity gets the better of you [biggrin] [biggrin] [biggrin]
