I hope so ;-). I’m no judge by all means but the title is quite clear about the scale... 1/32 or bigger. No other kit in your stash? Would be great if you’re joining the GB.

I’m curious, what kit do you have in mind?

FL-282 V6, from MiniArt. I have 1/32 one from WnW, but it's very complex and expencive for the first kit to build... 😃

Just a suggestion: go for it. If you don’t mind being disqualified because of the “wrong” scale there is nothing to lose and we can all enjoying following you building this interesting kit.
Of course it would also be great to see you tackling the WnW greatness :-)

Just to chuck a thought into the pot [smile]

To be fair though, the 1/35th scale is still a big scale and such a small distance away from 1/32 one could almost be forgiven for thinking of it as more or less the same scale,
shame to exclude anyone for such a small thing, I bet there's a few Heli & armour guys thinking "ah man, only 3 away !!"  [biggrin]

Could this not be amended so as to include more people given the modest shift in scale ?
Perhaps everyone involved thus far could take a vote and if a unanimous vote is returned Bobby could announce it ? [smile]

I guess until I've entered a project I don't deserve a vote though but for everyone who has perhaps they might entertain the idea at least [biggrin]

Anyhow [crazy]

Not that I make the rules by any means, of course Bobby has the final say on GB rules, but I originally suggested 1/32 scale or larger because in my opinion the "common" scales are 1/48 for airplanes, 1/35 for armour and 1/24 for auto.  I was hoping to see bigger kits then what we usually see and or build ourselves.

The 1/24 planes being built in this GB are amazing and making me want to buy one.

By suggesting 1/32 or larger I was hoping to see some 1/12 scale auto kits or even  1/16 armour along with the large planes we are already seeing.

Having said all that, I would hate to have anyone feel excluded from the GB.  Maybe the rules can be changed to "bigger then the usual scale" which would then also allow for 1/144 or 1/72 ships.

Now that is an unexpected twist [biggrin]

Looks like 1/35 pretty common for a choppers. I think I will try, and if Bobby decides it's out of scale, so be it. It would arrive next week.

I do hope some one expands the scale range a touch to 1/35
or least get a vote going perhaps [wink]
I'd like to see you build your helicopter model as a legit entry,
I like helicopters ! [smile]
