Nigel asked how my kitchen was going on his UAV thread, so I just took a few snaps of things as they stand today

This has been one nightmare after another since I first started it and a huge chunk of wall came away with a tile, it's totally dominated my life and it's the first thing I think of when I wake up and the last before I close my eyes at night lol !

There are still a million things on the "to do" list but for the first time it feels like I'm actually getting somewhere and I'm starting to believe it will get finished.

I have the say a massive thank you to Gr4h4m for his help, as without it I wouldn't be at the stage I am (cheers G for your help I love you mate !)

Anyway here we are

It's nothing special (cheapest kitchen I could find) but I still can't believe how much effort it took to get here

When I looked at the pics on the previous page I can see how far it's come along

I'm still waiting for a couple more cabinets to get delivered, but I'm hoping that the worktops, sink and oven can go in next week and we will be able to eat hot food again lol

Pete, the last thing I remember was.....nothing like the images above. Looks like some really nice professional work! Keep the Mojo going. I am sure there will be a "reward" at the finish line? fingers crossed.

Thanks so much for the kind words guys !

This project has really worn me out (I was at the end of my tether a few times along the way) I'm still not quite finished but should be done and dusted on Sunday.

I'm really looking forward to taking a break over Christmas and then I've promised myself that I will spend a month down in the Pete cave before I start another room.

Not sure what I'm going to build yet, I will probably start something new ( my shelf of doom is creaking at that lol) I'm thinking of doing a 1/12 MotoGP bike or my 1/32 b-25
But I won't know until I get down there if I still have any mojo. I guess I'll find out in the new year.

Here's some pics of the kichen I took when I finished working in there today

The room is a lot larger than it looks in the pics (that table is 1100mm diameter)

Sinks not fixed in yet as I wanted to be able to move it to tile, I'll get it done tomorrow

The wiring needs to be connected for the hood and under cabinet lights and also the skirting and architrave needs to go on and be painted but I reckon it will all be done by Sunday night

Really looking forward to not having to do anymore in the kitchen as I haven't got a lot left in me lol

That is looking great mate, and well timed for Christmas dinner. Well done.

You deserve the rest over the festive season. ..

...oh yes and I believe you have not received my package....I know this as I found it in my daughter's ex bedroom whilst cleaning her stuff left behind. Will get this sorted out ASAP, my apologies.
