Hello,

Mates, a great thank you for the very kind words. I haven't build a plane for a while, your comments are most encouraging !

Came in a couple of days ago (finally !). Highly recommended for an Avenger build, specially for the ball turret and cockpit :

Latest update on the Double wasp : wired (according to the internet references...), painted, weathered. I used Mig pigments : standard rust, old rust and black smoke. Missing are the washes and fuel and oil stains.

Thanks for watching ! [wink]

Hi,
Thank you gents for the comments !

Quick post for the last update :

The Hamilton is almost finished :

And the "major" new direction (yes, changed my plans) : "paneling" the nose/engine cover. So great cutting/sanding session, and additional details. They might be inaccurate, no references at all. [wink] Definitely don't wanted to hide the double-wasp !

Thanks for checking in [wink]

Oh, with beautiful detail like that, I wouldn't worry too much about accuracy as much. We understand artistic license here. [smile]

That, is lovely. Very lovely. [smile]

I have no clue how you do things so neat Laurent. That cowling detail is micro-neat!! Great work! [smile]

Me neither mate ! (Kidding...)
The details are small but not micro, and now that the interior of the engine cover is painted i can see all the micro sanding scratches. Let's say it is a bit adding to realism. And anyway, once mounted not much is left to be seen.......Though i know it's there. [crazy]

Latest progress :

Dry-brushed and then weathered with AK washes.

Tail gear, the buffable Mr Metal Color-218 is dry-brushed and then weathered with AK washes. Same as on most planes, not much of the tail gear is visible.
