May we have some shots with a dark blue background and a little bit of light,
enough to see the model but not overwhelm the "ACME Cow Ray" light,
it will contrast better in front of darker back ground [smile]
Maybe shine a pen light laser into the cockpit from above to light it up [biggrin]

Anyhow, looks awesome, especially the spilled blood soaking into the ground
and the way you can see light spilling through the guts of Daisy

Cheers mate I do enjoy a silly build now and again, it makes a nice change from the planes

I bought some coloured paper from Home Bargains when I was out shopping on Friday ( 99p for 200 sheets, result ! ) and will try and take some pics tomorrow.

Nah the tinfoil hat just helps to keeps things like this from happening to me in real life.

The ideas are down to the fact that for the most part I spend my waking moments smacked up to the tits

Its amazing you build that in less then 2 days.

Thanks mate

Yes just a day and a half to build but as I mentioned it was easy due to the low number of parts ( I think the total parts for the UFO was 12 lol. And using Alclad meant there was very little drying time

Cheers Ted,

I have to admit I do feel sorry for Daisy the cow but it was inevitable that this was how she was going to end up

What is there not to like about this. Brings a great smile to my face.

Great work Pete. [wink]

Cheers Nigel

The saucers are really great little kits and have loads of possibilities for fun projects, I looked on eBay to see if I could get anymore but the only one I could find was 20 odd quid ! I'm sure I got these ones for a tenner from model zone.

I'll have a dig around the net and see if I can find them cheaper somewhere else as I would like to build something else in the future with them

Thanks mate,

Alclad laquer helps to make the metal look good but I didn't spend much time on surface prep (none in fact lol) for this so its a little dull and rough. It really needs a smooth gloss black base coat to get the best out of it

I really like this, the light is very effective! But I really shouldn't eat while looking that cow!
