My first modelling project back after approx 25-26 yrs... The kit: Started with a Dragon cyber hobby kit and I have added lots of additional details, some through resin kits and some I made myself with green stuff or with spare photo etched "sprue". Everything is pained by hand with brushes since i have not yet invested in an air brush. The build: Found the kit to be abundant in parts -- and the fit was sometimes scetchy. Perhaps because i interpreted the instruktions wrong... either way, had some frustrating moments during the build. Tracks are out of the Box but were assembled one link at a time (2 parts per link)- that will test your patience for sure. Some work left on this vehicle - like painting the Jerry can holder and replacing two of the nozzles on the cans in the back that fell off- and final weathering and Dusting on the coming diorama (el alamein). The diorama will feature some figures and an old Verlinden pillbox that I found in my Basement (prob 25 yrs old). I have, however, some customized additions to the pillblx as well. Looks good. You've captured the right appearance for the Western Desert, (worn and tired). Nice to see a model build of a subject I'm interested in. Personally I'm building a DAK Panzer IV D at present. Geoff
