No problem Ted. Its super easy and super cheap. I'm happy to share.

Here is the Kubel with the decals on it;

The weather has been super helpful in this endevour. We've been having 80 degree days (93 today) around here and Paint is drying quick. In a few hours I'll be clearing this with Matte and working on my weathering and stains by tomorrow. I can't wait to see how my "window" has faired under the masking tape.

Its all coming together now. Just a few more days till I'm done.

Great work.
dont mean to change the subject but what are the figures in the left of the photo. Its an unusual one with the figure in the sleeping bag.

Simon, it is an old Verlinden set. U.S. G.I.'s, Late 70's early 80's I believe. I don't know if he sells that kit any more. I Have the one in a sleeping bag and another washing his hair over a bucket. I haven't found a place for them yet, but I was thinking of using the sleeping bag figure with the Kubel. The original kit came with a tent. I may set up a small dio for that situation, but it will take some modifications to convert the small details into German clothing on the figure washing his hair. I'll probably have to scratch build most of the equipment.

I don't have an pics to update for you guys at this time, but the weathering is looking really good thus far. I need some scenery bits and bobs before continuing (Michael's FTW). Maybe a display case as my house was built in 1929 and dust seems to materialize out of literal thin air. The Kubel is still in progres for the moment. I stopped and was distracted by some small tuner car kits but I should be back on track soon.

I tell ya, the Kubel looks pretty sweet parked next to the Panther.  He he.

Well I really never left...  I just have to travel five minutes down the road from my house to Mom's and borrow her net lol.

But thank you Pete.  [smile]

The bottle of my green that I used on it turned to jello somehow in the last couple weeks. I'm not sure how that happened but I will have to pull out the pallet to make some of it so I can finish the project. Thankfully I have some spare bottles so this should be okay. Just a minor setback, I'll get this done with no major issues and mixing my own paints will allow me to use the color modulations I've been recently practicing on some smaller kits.

I sometimes feel like DaVinci while painting lol. I've really started enjoying working with color modulations and blending with acrylics. Much easier to use than my traditional Testors enamels I've grown up with. Meh, enough rambling.

I've been having fun experimenting. Nuf' said. lol

I'll get some updated pics up when I can. I just have to take some first.

Thanks for your interest guys! I really do appreciate it.  [smile]

Update time  [smile]

I have completed 90% of this project thus far before being completely distracted by my R32 Tuner project that has taken up most of my time since the last time I posted. It has been quite some time since last I did any car models. If you would like go check it out. I will be posting it in a few minutes.  [smile]

Thanks guys!  [biggrin]

I'm considering a camping scene. I have a tent and the figures I can modify for such an event.

I will need to get those pictures taken of the Kubel next to the Panther like I promised I would  previously.
