Hi everybody,

Started a knew kit. Did not took pictures of the sprues and have already made some progress with assembling the model... but want to show you some pictures. I must admit the quality of the kit is very impressive. Everything fits together perfectly. A lot a lot of tiny parts and workable tracks ... so it's a bit time consuming but I love that.

So far so good.... Ah yes the return wheels are missing ... forgot to add them before taking the pictures... [tongue][tongue]

Thank you... Loved to build this one... Took some time but found it very relaxing. Finished the build yesterday, but forgot to share pictures... The funny thing is that I don't know much about armour either, but I love the design of these monsters... Having fun is all that matters no ?

That is AWESOME! MENG makes great kits and you have taken advantage of that quality. The details are great!

Thank you so much guys. Very appreciated. Hey .. I did something special with this kit ! I cutted all the parts and cleaned them before starting building the kit. Kept the parts of each sprue together in little Ziplock plastic bags... Then when I was ready to build I used identified trays to expose and pick up all the pieces required at each step of the build. Without any references (some sprues had almost a hundred parts) the only way to find the right pieces was to compare them with the pictures in the instructions. I was first horrified !!! Tought I made a big mistake .. but I really enjoyed this way of working... nothing to cut and sand... only manipulate the little parts and gluing them together. Also a good way to stay focused and the build was really fast. Didn't lost a single piece ... very proud !!!

That method of construction is interesting. You kept the various functions grouped carefully and got to enjoy a straight build all at once. Keen idea. Only problem I can possibly see is if you had very similar parts that had to be oriented slightly differently and glued them in the wrong position or side of the model.

Ah... almost forgot to show you the evolution of the build of this one. Tracks are not in place to be able to weather them properly and have a good access to the road wheels. They are all removable.

Ooooo! Lovely!

I'm a small fan of modern Isreali armor. Modified M-48's and M-60's interest me a other though.

Thank you guys. Did not already begin the painting. First want to practice on smaller kits. But I couldn't wait to build it and I have to say I had a lot of fun. Meng models are really good... Fit is perfect and the instructions are very clear. Some modelers hate the plastic workable tracks because it is time consuming. But it really doesn't bother me, in fact I found it very relaxing puting together all those tracks and pins. Hope to start painting and weathering soon.
