I reworked the finish a bit to give it a clean-ish fresh wash sort of look. Like it just pulled out of the tank park. I like it and I hope you guys will too.

Under daylight conditions the colors look almost perfect.

This was an entertaining build and most of the fun was painting it. The rubber band tracks are good and are well detailed, but the addition of the AFV Club Indy link tracks really dresses up the running gear rather well.

So this build was mostly right out of the box and it looks pretty good. Revell of Germany (RoG) did a good job and I'm glad to have this M-48 version in my display.

Now to finish something else. [wink]

Great job on this M48!
The photos outside are superb and make the subject much better I think.
Congratulations for your work.

Thank you, sir. This was a straight OotB build except for the AFV Club tracks. Weathering is almost non-existent and I didn't scratch build a thing. Something my armor builds are usually loaded with.

This is not the most impressive piece of my work. Your work is VERY impressive.

I understand well !
You must also know that the German army are very careful with their equipment and especially with those of the modern era.
I also understand your choice to leave it that way. [thumb].

I saw modern tanks with treatments that look more like wrecks.
I know that everyone has their own personal vision of the subject and I respect it, but in no way does it reflect reality.
but in modeling everything is allowed [smile]

Well said, sir.

Yes I am aware the the modern German Army keeps their fighting equipment very well maintained. I usually like to include some mild modulation in my paint schemes to lend the lighting a hand, but this was more for fun and not much else. It does make a good display piece.

Again, thank you.
