Well chaps its nearly been a year since my last completed build, how life gets in the way of things, especially in the form of an unexpected arrival, still my daughter is nearly 10 months old so I am now getting a bit of time to finish stalled projects of which this has been long over due completion.

I'm calling this finished though I might play a little more with the weathering in a few areas to add a little more depth to the finish but as she stands I'm really quite happy with the end result. the only real down side of the kit is the decals they are out of register and difficult to get settled down with out silvering.

On to the usual info
  • Kit manufacture: Airfix
  • Scale: 1/48
  • Type: EE Canberra B(I)6
  • Extras used: OOB
  • Paints and colours used: Tamiya and Mr Hobby acrylics
On to the photo's

And for an idea how big this kit is in 1/48, here's it next to my 1/32 Revell Corsair

So there it is, as I've said quite happy but ,ay revisit it to tidy up some of the weathering, great kit and I can't wait to get on to the other three 1/48 Canberra's I have to complete the set.

P.S. sorry for the patterned background the roller blind was a little see through I'll fix this for next time, till then Happy Modelling Chaps

Looks great! Beauty for the display shelf. The Orange lines on top look great! Are they decals? If so how did u manage to get them so straight!

Many thanks Adam it was an enjoyable build bar from the decals, they are out of register and did not want to conform very well, lots of micro set and sol, and in some cases a little Tamiya extra thin to get them to settle down. The orange demarcation lines are kit deals and they were probably the best to put down.
