Thanks to you all for your comments.

This is an unbelievable kit, the fit is stunning and the detail is so sharp. No wonder Eduard have no PE sets for this model, appart from the cockpit and seat belts, although the cockpit control panel in the box is quite amazing.

...and I agree this model is BIG and MIGHTY.

Very nice looking start! This AMK:s model was in last Fine Scale Modeller and had good judgement.

Cockpit slowly coming together. Surfaces sanded down to take the PE.
Just waiting for a delivery from MIG with the paint and filter/washes.

Thanks for looking.

Wow, can't really believe those seats are kit parts with some PE. Don't know if it's due to a great kit or your painting skills (or a combination)? But they sure looks great!

Thanks Ted & Steven.

Really itching to get on with this one, still awaiting my delivery of paints to enable me to do the cockpit and the intakes/engines.

This is crazy. I'm still awaiting delivery of Acrylic Metal paint and cockpit colour from Ammo. It's just water based paints ! It's only coming from Spain and it's taken over 2 weeks now.
I could have ordered a Samurai sword from Japan and it would have got here quicker. The tracking states that it has been in Dublin for the last week, the depot is only 20 km away. What really annoys me is that I paid more for the postage than I did for the product...I smell a rip-off somewhere...disgusting.

Had my rant, thanks for listening.
