No worries about the decal placement on the canopy. How many will actually know it’s backwards? Well, not me.........the painting really gets the mojo going personally.

Some more progress Pics

[NdGD4f]  The main colour applied to the model, with some lighting done by adding some white to the base colours.

The leading edge Bird strike area are in dull yellow.

The whole model was then given a gloss coat ready for decaling.  This stage took me a while to plough through, there are loads on the decal sheet and is pretty tedious to do.

The weathering has been done, but I need to take some better pics for this.

After the decals were completed I gave it another gloss coat to tie them in, and then started on the weathering.

I gave it a panel wash with Ak interactive midnight Black panel wash and then another with the Winter camo panel wash.  This is a weird green/brown sludge, but gives a nice effect.

 [Bs7Ksn]
Harriers get very dirty, especially along the rear fuselage near the hot exhaust, I gave this area and the top and bottom of the tail coats of heavily diluted Tamiya smoke and built up dirt slowly. Added oil streaks from the wheel with brown oil paint and gave the airbrake well a wash with winter camo.

I also used the smoke to add some streaking from the vortex generators on the wing, the APU exhaust. Also used the midnight black to add some streaks on the flaps

Finally gave it a matt coat to flatten it all down.  Next onto the weapons, wheels and the base.

Last few stages of this build is now complete, the weapons and pods have been painted and attached to the finished model.  I will upload the completed pic to the Final reveals section:
