Me too ;-). The main color is an overall grey, not very exciting. The markings really have to carry this Indian scheme. Couldn't finish yesterday, maybe I get to it tonight...

Got the base colors down. Doesn't look so much different comparing with the preshade pics, lol. Looking a bit boring at the moment but will liven up with the markings on and some weathering - I hope :-)

Thanks for looking.

Thanks, looking forward to put the decals down. I guess the emerald cockpit will pop nicely with the grey "background" :-)

Great build, that Eduard kit looks like a dream .. The seats almost looked identical from the front, but from the side you could tell the difference. What colors did you use for the exhaust?  looks great.  keep up the great work, looking forward to the final; stage [smile]

Thanks! All going well on this one :-). It's indeed hard to tell the difference between the seats when they're in the cockpit. I used Vallejo acrylic metal paints on the exhaust, easy paints to handle and no bad smells in the house :-)

When I looked at the painting instructions to start with the decals I saw the red frame around the canopy glazing but no painting instruction or decal number. I checked out some reference pictures and it looks like this is the sealant of the glass, comes in all kind of colors

So a little more masking :-). I "reused" the Eduard masks by scanning them to use the prints as a guideline for cutting new masks with a slight offset.

Yeah mine were a tan/brown and quite a bit thicker in the paint guide

Moving slow through the big decal sheets - very calming :-). The decals on the spine are fighting me a little because of the double curved shape but getting there. The hardest thing is to NOT tip over micro set and sol ;-). I like the splashes of color on the grey, so a quick picture...
