YAY! feels great to get the main air frame all solid and ready to shoot some paint. The wing loading on that frame [the real plane] must be huge?

Bit more time on her today,

Got the intake joins sanded and filled then decided to do s full prime as I felt confident it was good, and it was [smile]

Got the windscreen stuck down too and then decided to sort the seat so I could install before painting.

This seat took me all evening!
7, yes 7 base colours and 3 highlight and wear colours followed by 2 wash colours!

That's Mose colours than I will use on the full airframe lol

Still undecided if to have the canopy open or closed and it looks a little clumsy open.

Cheers ted. I really enjoyed painting that seat tonight, I like the fact it has so much colour going on, easpecially in the black hole of a cockpit and boring (but cool) paint scheme of the Canberra.

Cheers guys. Shouldn't take too much longer now.

Not going to be any weathering tbh, not bothering with a panel line wash as they are pretty prominent as they are and they were pretty clean birds so just a satin varnish once the decals are all down I think

Decals done!

And what a pain they are!

They went down ok but man some of them are so oversized it's comical! Oh well carried on anyway just had to improvise some locations.

Happy to nearly be done with this!
