Looks to me like it is a sonar array and assorted batteries as the PL-version is for anti-submarine warfare.

Thanks wim... my internals look a bit different 

im not sure to be honest what version my reference photo is from

Too bad not much of that interior will be seen, it looks like it calls for a lot of fun detailing!

Pastry chef?! I worked as a chef for about 15 years before I decided to start study again, can't help missing a crazy kitchen from time to time...

This looks like ППС "Осминог" from Ka-27ПЛ (antisubmarine, ship based var.). Search and Targeting System "Octopus". One of it's equpment rack.

Yup mate been in the game about 15 years myself, its a bit crazy at times but that's what i love about it ... i tried to quit and do a "normal" job but couldn't do it man, had to go back to the kitchen

Look in this topic. Some photos of complited interior. I think, there is not much of a reference photos of instruments cabin. It's kind of secret and pilots don't like to make photos of it (or then someone making photos).... [smile]

Yeah i could imagine there is some sensitive information in there...

i cant really see anything inside one the door is closed just a one tiny little window ... but i think i might be able to leave the door open so want to get some detail in there


need to go order some styrene now and lots or wiring !!!

So thanks too Gadjung for the photos  ... it seems this part is right in front of the door pretty much the only part you would really see ... and its not included in the kit ... typical
