Yeah the camera sure can be merciless! But to my eyes your scratch built details looks great! Bet you will feel pleased with them after some weathering!

You haven't thought of displaying it with open door, after all you work?

I think, cabin details look great, and yes, even real KA-27 pilots admit - there is not much for you to see in back cabin, except of big cable wheel.

ok, but be sure to leave the door wide open though [wink] [biggrin]

Had a look at the 1/72nd scale kits and I reckon they are about the right size for using to make vac forms for use on a RC coax heli, a project I have considered before !! [biggrin]

So i kept looking at this brush and thinking the cap would be perfect to start my big cable wheel from ... so i got 2 of them chopped them a little and glued them together, got some lead wire and coiled it around

look maybe just slightly too big but i think i might get away with it 

Had to chop away some of the wires away too , couldn't get the Ceiling/Roof ? on
