Hi All

First group build so I figured go big or go home!

This was actually my second choice as I was hoping to be doing a B25 bomber... obviously to fit the theme it was going to be in the guise of a Doolittle raider with a WW2 carrier deck base and tie downs.  However the kit is really scarce and I was out-bit on the kit I saw on EBay, so...

We have the Bell/Boeing V22 Osprey tilt rotor as used by the US marines.

Just waiting for the kit to arrive so will post the shots of the sprues etc when it gets here. Until then, here's A kit review by Phil Flory

Going by Phil Flory's review the kits showing its age a bit with raised panel line detail.  Going to take a look at it and compare with some reference pics and decide if I want to keep it as is or rescribe.

There's not much available in terms of aftermarket parts for this so I'll be scratch building the missing detail.  The only bought in part is going to be a resin .50 cal for the rear ramp with a scratch built mounting arm.

Can't wait to get started!

Paul, very nice kit.

Don't know too much about this beast, but I do like helicopters.

Good luck
