Now the normal true procedure for painting aircraft or the way i was taught normally you paint the lightest color first as in the white first but with the way the planes body is shaped it is going to be much much easier to do the gray first then mask off to do the white now that being said i do have a double action air brush for painting soft edges with out having to mask  but when it comes to a 2 color bird i just assume mask and use my trusty single action air brush which is the way i am used to doing it anyway.

I keep the double action brush strictly for use on camo paint job's that is what i have found it is best suited for. but anyway here is one progress of masking it up and getting it ready for the white.

Yea this probally a little overkill but yet masking tape and printer paper is cheap to buy
so i get good use out of it.

your model, your call. I favor masking well over painting boo boo's that result in a major headache. I don't trust myself to paint--especially with AB--with minimal masking.

Ok gentlemen well I am  a little pissed off i have discovered a major flaw with this kit.

Now for those that have this kit in their stash you are going to see what i am talking about now i dont know why kinetic did it or why or how but in real life thses planes are supposed to sit on their tail wheels when they are parked or taxied but when you put this kit together like the instruction's say it sit's on it tail sure enough but then the nose wheel's don't touch the deck  like they are supposed to on the real thing now either the main legs are too long or the nose leg is too short.

What ever it is those people at kinetic did it is a blunder they did not catch or remedy.

and i am at the point of no return on this build stage so the only option i had was to break off the tail hook and glue it to nearly full down position and you can see where the tail wheel is where it is supposed to be and look how far off the ground it is.
