Made a start on the Mirage. The construction of the intakes looks like trouble; staring from the outside, sliding through the fuselage to meet up in de middle... good point to start to get a feeling for the kit and see how well things fit :-)

First conclusion: all parts need a nice flash cleaning session but the fit is very good. The intakes meet up nicely and the fuselage is closing without struggle - so far so good ;-)

Looking good so far. Totally different intake structure than my hobby boss mirage, looks a whole lot more authentic on yours

Worked on the cockpit. The RS had a very nice metallic green interior. Mixed some silver with transparent green, pretty close :-)

No help from Eduard this time. But I think it's good enough as with the pilot in there and canopy closed most will be hidden anyway ;-)
Also painted the pilot, together with his bigger brothers for the F/A-18. I was surprised how big actually the scale difference is between 48 and 32!
