Hello

Here i present my build of the Revell Spitfire Mk. IX/XVI. The build shows a Spitfire Mk.XVI of the 308. Squadron "City of Cracow" RAF in 1945 after VE-Day in Varelbusch, Germany.

The build log you can find here.

The Revell kit is a re-box of the Hasegawa Spitfire with a new decal sheet. I added the Eduard BigEd set for this kit. The quality of the kit is very good with no major flaws. The only real downside are the missing gun covers for the E-Wing type. All the photo-etched parts were fitting very well, except those landing flaps. But i think it is more a problem on my side with the flaps then with the etched parts itself[wink]

Here are now the pictures:

I hope you all like the result.
Any comment is welcome.

Greetings
Enrico

I could go on and on about this model, but suffice to say that this is just a SERIOUSLY NICE piece of work. I am impressed.

That's a fantastic build Enrico and a superb finish. The panel lines and weathering look great. Well done.
