To say there were a few dramas involved in this build would be an understatement. For instance, I was expecting no serious fit issues, this being a Tamiya kit after all. Unfortunately, there were several nasty ones, though to be fair it is a very old mold, from somewhere in the ‘70’s I believe. The decals were the usual Tamiya disaster, and let’s not forget the cockpit filler dust that caused a significant drop on the happiness scale.
But. That aside, this was on the whole a satisfying build. Yes, I made mistakes again, but again I have ideas of how to avoid them in future. The most fun was the weathering, though looking back I wonder if perhaps I went too far? Honest opinions here would be appreciated.
So another one joins the display cabinet. Now boys, no fighting, y’hear?!
