Here is my first attempt at a Testor's kit.  I loved this build from start to finish and here are a few photo's of the finished article.  Also here is the link for the full build:

All your extra effort paid dividends Ian. Best build I've ever seen of this particular kit.

The chaps for the kind comments and I hope you enjoyed following the build as I did doing it.  I must admit that doing this build and finding out bits of information about this excellent little gem of an aircraft has put this on my favourite aircraft list.

Just more proof that if you have the talent and a ton of patience you can really make something spectacular out of these old Testors kits. Bravo, Ian!!

Thanks Mike. I am playing around with a 1/48 Piper Cub which is on the photo builds section at the minute and I have nearly finished that Tamiya M3 that you spotted in one of the O2 photos. Thanks again mate and Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and your family from the sunny (I wish) North East of England.

Thanks and I completely agree.  Why there aren't any new kits of the O-2 surprises me.

Thanks mate.  Finding photo's of the interior wasn't that easy.  Luckily that the Connecticut Air and Space Center are restoring one and one of the guys took a few photo's for me.  Also all the glass work including the windscreen are homemade as the kit parts aren't very good.
