Almost done with the cockpit. Still waiting for the seatbelt to arrive but more than enough other parts to work on :-). The PE is a very nice addition to the cockpit. The interior green doesn't match very wel but close enough for me. Used a dark brown wash and pigments to dirty things up.

Thanks for looking :-)

Also painted the exhaust. Big tube!

And started cleaning up the wings. Replacing the molded antennas at the wing tips with some 0.5mm brass. Looks a little more in scale.

That's an eye catching tub. Front Instrument panel is painting or photo etch? Looks fantastic.

I like the wash color you have selected.

I need those antennas too for mine too, they add to the model a lot.

Looking good Fabian, great blending of the PE colour to match the tub. I tend to use MIG neutral wash enamel and then play around with a touch of thinners to lighten various areas.
Still awaiting my Russian Emerald Green from Ammo.

Thanks :-). The IP is photo etch by Eduard. No way I could paint these details by hand 0.0. I also like the antenna, very easy improvement to do.

I only used a dark brown wash on the green but added a grey filter on the black parts for a little contrast. Hope your paints are arriving soon (together with my seat belts), looking forward to see some progress on the mighty mig :-)
