Thanks for the comments (feeling a little overwhelmed by all the comments content) At the moment I'm thinking of doing another sculpt to accompany this one using another person as inspiration (all based on Sherlock Holmes theme), I have really enjoyed the process on this one and getting back to my degree days . If the mould actually works on this one I may make copies available if anyone is interested. Thanks Stephen

Wow Stephen, so the head is now resin? Are you doing a mould of the chest as well? That all fits so well. Seriously if I did this the head would look like a pin or a balloon, you have got the proportions absolutely spot on. How do you measure that? Just by eye? Amazing.

Yes head is now in resin ( I still have the original as well) , I am going to do a mould of chest (once I buy in some more Silicone for mould) Measuring is done with a pair of callipers (I originally aimed for a 1/6 bust but i got lazy and stopped measuring and ended up at a 1/5 scale) Whole thing currently stands at a fraction under 5 inch tall Stephen

I just love how it is coming together so well Stephen. There are very few people in this world who can sculpt their own figures. This is just awesome to watch! thank you for including us all.

Stephen, fantastic WIP. thanks for sharing each step, materials, tools, etc. VERY interesting. john Q Public forgets about this part of the process of creating so many things we enjoy---we really take it all for granted!

Yes it's amazing to see how something like this gets created, I'm still in awe of the talent that's on display in this thread, it really does take a lot of skill to create something out of nothing, the finished piece, will be amazing
