Very nice choice... I had a look on the internet and saw you can even find 1/700 aircrafts... amazing !!!

Yes, even with PE riggin. But... In 1942, then Hermes was sunk (as this model shows it), he actually doesn't carry any aircrafts.

Just now seeing this thread. Looks like you are well underway. I have built model ships before but it was over 40 years ago!! I enjoy seeing what you have here.

Bad thing about this model - there is no stand in the kit. Need to make one for youself or order elsewhere. Strange decision FlyHawk, especially for being not so cheap model.

they saved a few cents and left a bad taste in a customers mouth--not too smart IMHO

Some progress on Hermes airwing. On the day of sinking she has only 3 unoperable Swordfishes. Here they are. But in operational state now! 😃
