Some of these decals have been a royal PITA. The F*GA are all one solid decal and the A was a bstard! It folded and crinckled and had to be cut loose and untangled before being re-placed on the fuselage.

For a "starter" kit there is no way without a copious amount of Micro Sol that the sharks mouth will line up correctly. Probably best to cut off the lower black stripes and just simply paint that part on.

I expected better from Cartograph. Yes they are beautifully printed and register perfectly, but these are just a touch too thick for the sharks mouth contours without the Sol.

So, this is one side. Took me all freaking afternoon til now.

Yeah. That's one side. Guess I'll do the other side tomorrow lol.

That's a bit spooky.  I did the 1/48 Academy P-40 in the exact same scheme, and the A folded up on me, too.  What are the odds?

No idea, Kit. But, dayum. I don't normally have to use so much Set and Sol. Especially with Cartograph decals.

I don't know why, but this side gave me no problems at all. Everything went on without trouble and snuggled in really well.

What was I doing wrong yesterday?!

Just a few details have been finished up.

Nav lights, formation lights, and the sharks mouth touched up.

Landing gear, landing gear doors, and the exhaust stacks are in the works now.

More seriously I really love the look of your model... the color and the scheme of the camo are fantastic. And the mouth gives it this very agressive look... I love it !!!

Thank you, Mates!
I suppose I can get back to finishing the landing gear and exhaust stacks now that the zero is completed.
