This build is going to be great! Love getting hobby stuff in The mail! Time to get out the popcorn as you start your project. Good luck.

This kit looks awsome... and with the aftermarket parts I'm sure you are going to achieve something impressive.

This Eduard model comes with a lovely 70 page history booklet on the various aircraft you can make. Unfortunately it's in Chech and I can't read it

If anyone could possibly interpret these images I'd be very greatful

I can see 861 was origonally RAF then given over to Chech usage from images, but it'd be nice to know more info

I'm told there is an English translation on the Eduard website somewhere.  Haven't got around to looking for it myself yet, but have a poke around, see what you can find.

There is a pdf for English translation, but its for kit 2121 Riders in the Sky 1944 Mk III & V.
But my kit is the later release 2123 Riders in the Sky 1945 Mk VI & VIII.

pdf riders_in_the_sky_1944_english.pdf

The booklet in my kit shows Images of all the variants possible to make with the kit and decals.

Thanks for the help though Kit

Sorry it was the wrong one, I would have thought there would be one for each version.  Still, you have done me a favour, as it is the earlier variation I have myself, so you saved me looking.

That PE should add some nice detail. It will also test your nerves! Some guys at the model club suggested putting the model and PE inside a large clear plastic bag when you are working with it. Slip your hands inside and you’ve got a PE safe zone. Then if it pings, it can’t fly off the bench into a carpet monster. PE flys extremely well! 🤣😢😢

Watch this live video Bobby did last week for PE. I have this simple and cheap tool:

I don't have "pings", but I fumbel the parts and the carpet monster gets fed..............luckily this PE comes with many duplicates, so the carpet monster is fed and I still fit enough to make my model nice.

To watch Bobby's next live tomorrow (Friday 18th Jan), go to Video's tab (on Genessis You Tube) at about 6.00pm (UK time) and keep refreshing...........when his live strarts a new vid appears and you can watch live on you tube
