Interior looks great! Always a nice moment closing the fuselage.

Not much progress last night but I added filler to the main seam line between the two fuselage halves and left it to dry.  Tonight I'll sand it down and hopefully be left with minor panel lines to re-scribe.

Thanks guys, much appreciated.

some more progress since my last post, I sanded and polished the main seam line down the middle of the fuselage and added a few of the hatches to the top and bottom where the gun turrets would have been.  I also managed a start on the wings and engine nacelles.

Here is how they look so far.......

I couldn't help myself so I test fit the wings to the fuselage and man, even in 1/72 scale, she's a big plane.

Thanks,

Nice progress! As far as fitting main components together and flying them around the room (I added the flying), it’s a scale model disease of course. No cure and not looking for one!! IF I were going to build a 1/72 project now, I would choose a big bird. Great work Timbo

Nice progress Timbo, I find big 1:72 = more fiddly little bits.

Though they are easier to display than 1:48 or 1:32 of the same aircraft etc

Hi everyone, I know it has been a very long time since I have posted anything and I don't have any updated photos but I have been working away slowly and I'm close to primer stage.  Once I get everything together I'll take a few shots before and after primer.

Hope to be posting more often with progress reports.
