Keep up the good work on the fortress, I remember making one when younger and they truely are a "flying fortress with all those guns" [crazy]

Great, have to check out the new live show...

Very true! I’m actually enjoying working on the interior, even almost nothing will be visible at the end. I did quite an effort to make a nice interior in the “bomber GB” some time ago and almost nothing was visible at the end but I know it’s in there and that’s fine with me :-)

nice start Fabian, one to watch for sure !!
I get the feeling you might be highly motivated to try and reclaim your throne !! haha [rofl]

This is actually quite a nice kit, especially with all those lovely upgrades !!
Shame all the interior stuff will be largely lost through the small windows
but thankfully we're going to get some great photos before you close it all up !! [cool]

I have this kit but without the PE.
but I do have the Legends resin figure set for it which are quite nicely done.
Think I'll need a masking set though as all those windows are a touch intimidating !!
I'm tempted to enter it but I reckon my spine still needs more recovery time
as I couldn't even finish my last entries and they were a much simpler proposition than this kit ! [bawl]

However I did recently one of the monthly Genissis Models comps for the first time ever ! Wahoo !!
which was the 1/72 Me262 by Airfix, so that's a tempting contender for my bench !
or my Apollo 11 LEM by Airfix ....
or my Revell Millennium Falcon....

Anyhow, good luck with this one dude
decided which colour scheme yet ?

Hi Paul,
Yes, it is a very nice kit but far less detailed than the Hind. I think I will try a metal finish. Would be a first so maybe I do some tests first. Sorry to hear that your recovery is slow, hope your fit for some bench time soon!

That navigators table is crying out for some maps and slide rules etc [wink] 😃

Nice idea to carve out the doors as that might let some light flow through to the inside etc. 😉

Some juicy PE work there 😃
