I have done that particular Flanker too in distant past:

Nice model, if I remember right it's Hasegawa's plastic and goes together very well. Cockpit is very sparse so your upgrade is very welcome. Nice work with that too!

later than hoped due to things getting in the way and there were few places that needed bit more filler and a smooth....but managed to get the first layer of paint on today....and has been a nightmare trying to find what the colours were for the first air frames...but hopefully got it right,,,,,,

bad week after research found the paint needed and got on with the paint but was not happy with it one bit.....as can see felt it was much to dark...

it may work for some schemes but not the one im do...but annoyed as this is the colours the eduard kit say but defiantly not how shows on the guide.

so after giving the  a paint a rub down , I decided to try something in the way of using blue to do a pre shade, then on with new base colour

managing to plough on with this on e now and toady was decaling and first stage of weathering.
but did hit a snag as quite a few of the decals were perished so had to use some micro decal film and others to do the best could.
