I'm not into missile trucks, but that one looks like a dang fine kit that I think I would enjoy. Excellent detail in the box!

I haven't played any Airsoft games in the last four years. But I do have my Red Wolf AS Patch. Along with my ASGI and O.G.R.E. patches. My team still wears our logo in public lol.  Good times! But we never got to play with Armor.  [frown]  That would've been the ultimate.

You've just reminded me I still have this in my stash.

I also have the resin cabins, with full interior, to go with it.

Looks like the Missile Truck from "Spies Like Us" lol! That would be amazing if you could find tiny little figures of Aykroyd and Chase lol!!

Hahaha I'd forgotten all about that movie, don't think it went down very well at the box office but i love Dan Ackroyd and Chevy Chase and liked the movie

I loved it when I first saw it. Aykroyd and Chase were a phenomenal team for that movie. Its really not a bad idea for a small Dio. Wink, wink, nudge, nudge. Know what I mean? lol

And now for something (not) completely different.

I finished up the Dazzlers this evening. Trimmed, sanded, and mounted. I even added the cables (which I had previously removed from the casting) and the cover plates. I found one picture with them mounted in this fashion and thought it would be really neat to replicate them in this scale.  [wink]

I also added the mounting bolts for the right side turret stowage box, since I had removed a lot of material from the turret sides to separate the aplique armor plating it no longer fit flush and I had an obvious gap. Not easy to see in this picture, but if you strain you can sort of see them.

And that's as far as I've managed to get for the time being. I still need to get a base started so I can make adjustments to the suspension and get the lower hull under way.

I said it before but I'm so impressed by the level of detail you manage to put into this little tank!

Thank you, thank you!

Check this out;

1/144th scale Firefly conversion. That is a fun scale! lol

I've put the finished build up in the Final Reveal Armor section if you'd like to see a little more. That was my secret project for my Dad's birthday. [smile]

Yeah I saw your final reveal, it's just awesome!

Have you seen this guy? Came to think about you when I saw this build [biggrin]. Maybe a good benchmark for the 1/144 SIG we talked about!? [smile]

That would be a challenge alright. A serious challenge. Hard to believe that is 1/144.

On a side note, I have only managed to add the frontal armor plates to the turret. There area a couple of spots that "float" and I have fixed a couple of them. No pictures yet because its not much of an update. Sorry about that, mates.

I saw your reveal too Mike and it's a great little slice of art mate ( will be over to have a proper look in a minute )

And wow that's incredible detail in 1/144. I have a Hurricane in that scale and know how small that is, I can't believe how he's managed to get that much detail in

Okay, it's been a week since I could even do anything with this build. Today I've managed to continue adding all of the junk attached to this old T-72 turret lol. Smoke dischargers and a bunch of armor and equipment I don't know what functions they all serve. You'll see I used a bit of Squadron green putty on the gunner's hatch. There was a huge sink hole in it. The worst one yet. Most of the sink marks on the armor pieces are easy enough to sand down and eliminate, but that one was almost a hole lol.

Not much to show, but at least I got to get back into this one. A week without building something probably doesn't seem like a lot of time to most people, but I couldn't wait to get back into it. lol
