This kit has a wealth of details for this scale. I know there is at least one PE set for it, but from what I've seen it does little to improve the already beautiful amount that is already included. It didn't leave me with much scratch building to do to improve it, but I found a few small things that I improved upon.

The paints were mostly Vallejo, with a touch of Testors enamels in there for the metallics.

I replaced the kits tow cables with twisted garbage bag ties, three per cable. I thinned some of the parts for better scale replication. I drilled out the headlight and spotlight and added my own clear sprue lenses. The "Dazzlers" have red LED's installed to be powered up once I make a base for it. I re-positioned the MG and added a belt of ammunition. I modified the fuel drum hoses so that they actually look like they could function.

There is quite a bit of little things I did just to add a little more detail to this model. All in an effort to trick your eyes into seeing it as a bigger model than it really is. I hope that I have succeeded, lol.

Without further ado, I present my entry into this Group Build and I hope I have a chance of actually winning something. This GB's competition is seriously tough! We here at Genessis have some incredibly brilliant modellers among our ranks and the quality of these entries is phenomenal.

Thank you for this amazing opportunity to build with you guys! I just don't have enough words for all of these incredible models you guys have built, and are continuing to build.

You guys are some of the best! Wish me luck, Gentlemen. I'm going to need it lol!!

This is truely amazing work for such a small scale model.

You have the correct model scale that if you did not know it was 1/72 you could pass it for a 1/35 version.

Great work. A deserved entry into the final.
Good luck.

Thank you for all of the kind comments, friends. I should've spent more time on this entire build, but the vision is still in progress.

I'm working on the base for it now. Too bad I didn't give myself enough time to complete it in its entirety.

But at least the main subject is complete.

Next one should be better! Thank you for the overwhelming praise!

I believe we've all deserved a win in this round as there are far too many gorgeous builds for the boss to judge this time!

Good luck to all of us!! [biggrin] lol!

yes indeed ! the standards of the models entered just keeps getting higher and higher,
well, except for one anyhow [wink]

I do regret not being able to offer something decent for this GB,
I guess I'll just have to be content with amusing some of you with my silliness [biggrin]

Also nice to see so many entrants as well, for me this is the best modelling forum on the net though what with the high standards and good humoured participants, makes modelling fun !! [smile]

Your silliness is one of the things that does make it fun around here, Paul!

Can you imagine how much better the next GB is going to be? Lol

gonna have to make sure I do a proper model for the next one though [wink]
I have two ideas at the mo, either my 1/24 Harrier or a 1/35 Bell47 crash diorama depicting a crop spraying Bell47 my dad crashed due to an engine failure at 50 knots and 3 feet from the 80's on a farm in Yorkshire which he walked away from with just a few bruises and scratches.

I may have to do another silly build as well though just for the giggles [wink]
I;m pretty sure I can find something British to stick some robo legs on [biggrin]
