Hello all,

This was my first attempt at building and weathering an HO scale train car, in this case an Atlas brand extended vision caboose wearing "Delaware & Hudson" markings.  The build itself was not very much, I just had to add the grab irons, attach the top to the base and install the ends.  The model itself came pre-painted in red and black with the markings already on so I had to add all the detail painting.  Then it was on to the weathering, overall I am happy with the finished model and think it will look great running around our train layout.

Thanks all for taking an interest in this even though it is far from the ordinary for this website.  Here are the final photos, hope you enjoy.....

The building and vehicles are also 1/87 scale, the building was also built from a kit and painted and weathered to look as you see it in the photos, the cars are dicast models that came as you see them.

Thanks,

Tim

Great work, and congratulations on finishing on time.   I think our leader has his work cut out judging all the finishers like yourself and the rest of us. But as the saying goes, 'You can't win it if you're not in it.'
