I've seen this concept done in 1/144 scale before as well as a few 1/72. They really look cool and nicely 3D.

Not a lot of work over the past week or so but here is how the planes sit now.  Everything is built minus the canopy and propellers.

sorry for the poor quality, my camera didn't focus very well.

I also recently got a new photo booth and turntable for taking pictures, it's called Foldio360 and it is very cool.  The booth is 25"x25" and has 3 built in LED strips on a dimmer for lighting and it folds away to nothing when not in use.  The turn table has a rear facing built in LED to illuminate the background and has bluetooth to connect to my phone for controls.  The light has a dimming feature and motorized rotation all controlled from my phone, it can also be connected to my DSLR camera.  The coolest feature is the 360 view of the model.  I still need to play around with the settings but here are some quick shots I took with the setup on my phone.

Apparently the video didn't work but if you click on it it takes you to my flickr account where you can see it.

Can anyone help me with how I can add a video to a post??

Thanks,

Youtube videos are easy enough, just copy and paste the link in your post,
flicker is awkward and over protective so links will always try and steer you to their actual web page ....

anyhow,

[smile]

this is a test to see if either of these links work.

Great plaques! Congrats
BTW—your first video posting was fine. When you click on the photo, it opens your flicker page. When you click on the image there it runs the video. I use flicker and that is how the site “shares” your video. All you need to do is include the instruction to click on the photo to initiate sequence to the video. Somewhat cumbersome and using YouTube can be more direct.

Wow, has it been a long time or what?  Sorry for the delay in any progress and I don't have much to show you but I have recently started working on this again after a very busy summer.

I have all three planes ready for primer but before I spray anything I wanted to figure out the stands and how I'm going to position the planes.  Surprisingly, it wasn't too hard and I think it looks pretty cool.

Here are a few pics, next step is paint.

Hopefully it won't take me as long to get these painted!!!

Thanks for looking,

Tim

Hello! No worries about time. We all have lots of things to attend to and modeling gets pushed to the back burner. Good progress and it’s looking really nice! You can feel the action and hear the engines.

Thanks guys, it's hard letting a project sit for so long and then getting back into it.  It will be a big push but I hope I can finish in time.

Here is a little update.......

3 birds ready for primer.....
