Totally missed this guy, only watched the first episode yet but he's doing some cool stuff.

Thanks for showing me, very useful indeed!

Yeah, these things require you to switch to Zen mode ...

These tracks look really good though. Most of the time, you never know what the result of aftermarket parts will be. It happens often enough - at least to me - that you buy some stuff because you think it would lift your model to the next level and that it ends up being meh and not use it in the end.

Ah well.

Just to confirm ... following. I am most certainly interested in what you are going to do with the dio.

Got the house together, some minor gaps, some I will fill and some will just be hidden behind rubble and such. Also cut out the high density foam that will form the base, the extra height lets me add extra detail in this case a crater in the road.

The MiniArt kit in addition to the vaccum formed parts comes with two injection molded sprues, not the best plastic I've seen....

When joining the turret halves I ended up with a nasty join line, but instead of sanding over the surface detail I simply added a 0,3 mm styrene rod and enhanced the weld detail that compared to my references looked a bit too neat.

This how the tank sits for now, suspension is all done, all the big parts for the hull are glued and the turret halves are together.

.

Next step would be all detail parts and the road wheels.

Thanks for the support

Since I already introduced the beetle I think it deserves a proper presentation. It's a CMK kit of the Kubelwagen 82 e the one with Kubelwagen chassis and body from the beetle. It's a simple kit but for what I have in mind for it, it will be perfect.

Took the kids on a day trip to Aeroseum a aircraft museum in a declassified aircraft bunker outside Gothenburg. The light in the mountain isn't the best so my cellphone camera struggled a bit but I thought I would share at least a few pictures of some SAABs

J29 Tunnan, AJ37 Viggen, J35 Draken and J32 Lansen

And a pic of what I call a proper "playground" [biggrin]

The kid in the intake is my 6 year old son, says something about the engine size of Viggen

Now back to the bench for a late night session!

They sure liked it, but not as much as their dad [biggrin]

Yes I've built a Tunnan, Draken and Viggen. No Lansen.

For Draken I think you already got the best kit.

A company called Tarangus does a good Viggen and Lansen.

The J29 Tunnan I built was from AZ models a not so good kit, but the one to get is a newly released one from a company called Pilot Replicas, heard it should be really good.

A link to my WIP of the Tarangus Viggen: http://genessis-models.websitetoolbox.com/post/tarangus-148-saab-ja37-viggen-thunderbolt-7940077?&trail=15

And my J29, remember it was my first build after returning to the hobby [smile]: http://genessis-models.websitetoolbox.com/post/azmodels-148-saab-j29-tunnan-flying-barrel-7280473?pid=1286062894

Oh the Crow, haven't watch it for ages!
