I made it, and with plenty of time left. Not much to add that isn't in the build thread http://genessis-models.websitetoolbox.com/post/academy-135-t3485-berlin-may-2nd-1945-dio-8202229?trail=15 I want to thank you all for the support during the build and for all your very inspiring WIPs. What a great GB this turned out to be. A small apology in advance for the amount of pictures but I did promise Fabian A LOT of pictures . Hope you like it, I sure had a real good time planning, building and painting it!

I could look at this build for hours and still not find all the little details. Seriously amazing work, I really love it.

Ditto. Fabulous work on each and every detail. very artistic and inspiring. a TRUE diorama that tells a great story. NEVER too many pictures, especially with a subject that has so many dimensions to it! THANKS!!!!

This is an amazing entry into the Group Build.
It has everthing that a diorama should have...it keeps the eyes searching from all angles to find more detail. It wants you to go back to the scene, and when you do...wham, there's something new that you missed last time you looked.
It's a great subject, a frozen moment in time from a photograph that has been transformed into a 3D replica.
A truely incredible piece of work.
If I had to pick one part that I liked, more than just the whole, it would be the wrecked VW...it just adds such a big dimension to the diorama without stealing the show.
You should be very proud of this project Daniel. Stunning!

Thanks for your kind words Nigel! And I agree the beetle is the part I'm most satisfied with, partly because I've never done anything similar and it came out just as I pictured it.
