That's beautiful Simon. I can see a difference between the two shades of green and the finish is perfect. She looks like she would be very well suited to be on a runway.  [smile]

Stencils, stencils, stencils.... Bah!

Thanks Mike.
As with the Sabre this was brush painted and it seemed to take an age to do. I thinned the paint a lot with this one to keep the thin panel lines i also managed to stop the nasty effect you sometimes get when brushing camo of built up lines were the colors meet. Those stencil's did seem to go on for ever.

You'd never know it was brush painted Simon. Fantastic job with it mate. Something I steered well clear of until I got my AB. Didn't have the guts to brush paint something on this scale.
You're clearing the decks by the looks for the next big build?
You should have a lot of confidence to tackle anything now mate. [smile]

Brush painted? Well that's a whole other arena. Now I am really impressed. I didn't know you could rock a brush like that lol. Maybe that could be a theme for a group build. That would be challenging. Muwahaha!

Very nice, Simon! The camo is looking great. Is it freehand or did you masked the different colors? I can't see any color "up building" between the different shades, very wel done! What's next? ;-)

Thanks Pete. I was about to take some finish shots of the F-15 and at the last minute noticed i had still to fit a part. so once she is complete i can show photos of that. although i must admit i'm not as happy with it as the other two. The build was okay just the color i'm not totally happy with. the grey is a mare to brush paint. When i post photos i will also show you them all together lakenheath did have an amazing group of aircraft.
Thank you very much Fabian. the camo was done free hand. I was worried if i masked then i would run the risk more of the colors building up. I found the trick was to thin paint a lot. Each coat took about three to four coats. As for whats next. The luck of the draw fell to an aircraft that's beautiful. She is also very fast and very dark.

Simon--great work, especially with the brush painting and details--dropped flaps-etc. NICE!
