Building this to go alongside my Hunter build, there will also be a pilot figure from PJ Productions. The Triumph kit is a re-boxing of the fairly ancient Airfix kit, and is definitley showing its age big mould seams loads of flash, and very soft details in places, but with a bit of time and effort with sanding sticks and seam scraper it cleans up well, remade the exhausts from Albion Alloys 2.5 mm aluminium tube, think they look much better than the kit ones which were just a solid plastic rod.
Painted with vallejo white primer 1st, then Triumph Signal Red, picked out the chrome details with Gunze Mr metal colour, then buffed to a shine.Come to a bit of a halt as realised the kits front bumper has gone missing, so will press on with the rest of the build, hopefully Airfix can supply a replacement.

Thanks for looking
Gary

Finishing touches for the Triumph just need to add the photo etch wipers and it should be done, beggared up the front number plate decal, so having to make one up from decals from a railroad decal letters sheet. This is going to end up on a diorama with the Hunter and a great pilot figure from PJ Productions Scratch built the headlights painted silver plastic discs don't look right so made these from Microscale  KrystalKlear along with the side lights. Door mirror from a 43rd scale Can-Am kit, and scratch built the exhaust tailpipes

Thanks
Gary
