You've picked a great kit there! It builds beautifully - I hope you enjoy it as much as I did (my first build for 30 odd years).

this was my 2nd kit i built after getting back into the hobby and as stated above its a great kit..    falls together..    only thing i would say is plastic is very soft so just be careful when sanding,   its sands real easy.

Thanks guys for the heads up on this kit, it seems like the fit in all areas is generally good, will take heed of the advice on the soft plastic.
taking inspiration from you guys builds.
Regards Gary

Hi all here is a little progress from today encountered a slight hitch in that with the folded wing option the lower wing section parts are not that good a fit, hence the Mr Dissolved putty
Got the cockpit 90% done and closed the fuselage up and started the wing sections, more soon hopefully.

Never done a W.I.P before so please bear with me if you notice any mistakes please shout out
Regards
Gary

Update on progress of the Seafire, got the paintwork all sorted used Tamiya paints for the fuselage Sky and Dark Sea Grey, with Tamiya Cockpit Green for the wheel bays and the inside of the flaps and the interior sections of the folded wings, looking at the previous photos the seat belt looked crap so have re done them, added some pipe work foe the brakes running down the under carriage legs and added some pipe work in the wheel bays from 0.5 copper wire, also made the interior handles on the cockpit.
given a pin wash and done the panel lines and lightly weathered, and given a few light coats of Johnsons Kleer, all the decals done, now on the assembly stage.
As always please feel free to comment, advise or criticsize .

More progress soon thanks for looking
Gary
