Completed this today during a weeks holiday, fantastic kit which was a joy to build as per comments by other guys here on the forum, the only snags were of my own doing, broke the pitot tubes so had to replace them with some fine bore tube, managed to break one of the undercarriage leg hinges and had to replace with of all things a piece of photo etch from a 24th scale car windscreen wiper set, which in fairness looked better than the plastic offering.
The figure is from an Eduard set,and painted to represent a RNVR pilot for a Seafire based at Royal Naval Volunteer Reserve Station Cullam Oxford in 1950.

Thanks for looking any comments or criticsms welcome.

Guys thank you for the flattering comments it is very encouraging, I draw inspiration from all the fellow builders on this forum, there are some very talented people on here, and I love seeing how you guys do things, and also following Bobby's tutorials, I have rekindled my modelling mojo with aircraft at the moment having hit the doldrums with my usual field of interest being Race cars and Bikes, find myself thinking and planning what I want to do with my builds like I did 20 odd years ago when I got the bug for cars and bikes, long may it continue.
Many Thanks
Gary

Taking another look at the reveal, I forgot to mention the power of the diorama to tell a story. The build and finish is great, and the story
carries that to another level altogether. You see hundreds/thousands of models of familiar subjects, then you run across the builds that stick
in your mind. This is one of those that stay with you.

I have been saving my comments for this entry ever since I saw it, as I wanted to judge it against the other entries, and my initial thoughts have been proved correct.  This is right up there, great build, great finish of a great kit.
cheers
