That picture proves that Hagrid wore a hairpiece in the Harry Potter movies

At long last looking more like a plane now.

Wings on and tail in place. Fit was not too bad, and just a little plastic putty, sand down and once everything is fully dry a little bit of rescribing.

The photos show the Dornier on the dogfight stand.

Juat waiting for a big delivery from Hannants one item of which is the masking for the canopies.

Warming up my AB as we speak.

Thanks for looking [smile]

Latest update.

Engines done and weathered.

Coweling sprayed with thin coats of Tamiya yellow. Giving them a coat of klear and then onto weathering.

This build is progressing nicely, all canopies fit well, no landing gear to worry about. Props constructed and drying, bomb bay being built.

More as it progresses.

In case I forget, as this is in a Dogfight diorama I had better show what's on the Junkers tail.

The Boulton Paul Defiant Mk1...

This is quite a nice little model, with it's new molding and lovely detail.

The cockpit has suprised me with detail and wonderful fit. No flash and the pins are in nice places so they cannot be seen.

When I find this kit I will not resist buying it. I've always wanted to build that plane.

Mike, it's a lovely kit. The panel lines are not too deep and some are raised. It's going to be all about the painting on this model.

Only thing I don't like is the stupid inanimate pilot that Airfix produce. It would be useful to get a box of resin RAF pilots and save some for another build.
