HELP!

I have been working on a 1/72 scale T.S.R 2 but the illustration on the instruction are not very clear as to the location of part numbers 51 and 52. The aircraft that I am doing is XR222 that is at Duxford.

I have searched the internet for reference photographs to help with resolving the problem but I have not been able to find a suitable image.

Has anybody made the aforementioned kit with the above mentioned parts located, as all the images I have found show that most of the under carriage flaps are in the closed position.

Thank you in advance for any information relating to this problem.

Terry.

I had a very good day yesterday although it was grey and damp wondering around IWM Duxford. There was a few planes flying, "Sally "B" flying fortress was out and looking splendid. There was couple of small by-planes doing the rounds with the customers, along with a twin seater spitfire which sounded magnificent as it took off from the run way as the cloud base was very think and reflected the sound. I thing the engine might have been a "Griffin".

There was a "Catalina" which was late leaving for Munich air show due to to the weather conditions (Thank You) So it was case of and stop for a while to watch the procedure from start up through to taxiing to take off. It sounded good.

But I have a better understanding how the under carriage should look like on the TSR 2 which was what I went there for in the first place but it was the last place I finished up doing. To see a real one was a real treat as it was a beautiful plane to see as the size of the wings in relation of the plane a small.

I have taken photos of the day but I find it very diffcult to post pictures on to this site.

Terry.

Just a bit of bad News. I managed to sit on the one that I was making. Back to the drawing board.
