because this will be wheels up, there seems some conflic in the fit.

[Do-17z-build26]

So some putty and lots of sanding later, it seems good. Will have to scribe some panel lines.

Hopefully have some time this weekend to keep pushing it forward.

Also: Thanks for the info on the apps for paint color. Looks really great!

Nice one Seth, now that you are ahead of me it's my turn to follow you. The detail is pretty amazing for such a small scale.
Sorry to see you had fit issues, but well done on fixing them. It's one of those kits where there is so much going on in the cockpit that if you have just one piece that is not fitted correctly then the mistake multiplies.

Bravo on the masking.

For the diorama I am planning I was hoping to be able to shape the pilots that come in the box to fit, but it is not happening. So finally my new figures arrived. The Airfix 1/7nd luftwaffen personal box.

The figures I'll be using and reshaping:

Starting working on the pilots and the lifeboat.

It's like a US civil war hospital in there, arms and legs everywhere!

[Do-17z-build35]

While those dry, starting to work with greenstuff to build a life raft:

I've also been playing with making the water look realistic, hopefully can post pictures of that tonight.
