Looks like you will manage to get it ready before the deadline!

Great work with all those tiny stencils!

that finish is pure pro. I see the "bluing" on the exhaust--nice!

Means a lot cheers ted.

So I finally have finished the stencils!

Also managed to get the weapons and wheels put together and in primer.

Should be able to seal in the decals tomorrow evening after they settle and get the other bits in paint. Then comes the fun part, weathering time!

Weapons decals done, wheels painted and canopy interiors done.

Weapons are darker than some of the ref photos, done this intentionally as I wanted them to contrast with the aircraft grey a bit more. To be honest though they can been seen in loads of different schemes, some with white fins, some dark etc etc.

Next stage is weathering [smile]

Topside weathering near enough there. Possibly a few deeper streaks.

Opinions?

One part of modelling, and painting, Gerry, is knowing when to stop. So far you have produced a wonderful result. One mistake now could ruin the final result. You have achieved something rather special, and taken advice, following other modellers builds....time for you to stand back and really look at what you have achieved.

You still have plenty of time...don't rush now just because you can see the finish line.

It's a great build. Well done you, I knew you could do it!

Thank you man.

I do tend to over weather as a preference but these jets were kept in pretty great condition so I decided I would be more refrained with this one.

Same level of weathering to the sides next and possibly a touch more on the underside to match ref shots and I can matte it and get it all together.

Listen, this is your model. It will be on display on your shelf. You will be showing this to everyone who visits, and so you should. You've put a lot of yourself into this build. You started off so unsure of your abilities but you have produced a work of art...your art.
I'm so glad you did.
After all it's a hobby, and should be enjoyed.
I'm so pleased that other members builds have encouraged you along the way.

Good luck be with you.
