oh Yeah, the ship has that "organic" look for a completely different design than most of the sci-fi ship universe. I am a die hard trekker, but hey, there IS MUCH MORE to sci-fi than ST. bring it on!!!

This is another ship I am unfamiliar with but it has a beautiful shape and the colour scheme in the picture is bautiful. A nightmare with the resin breaking like that but it does look very thin in some places so I guess this one will need super gentle handling.

Looks like you are in top of the repairs mate and I hope that's the last of the breakages you have on your journey with this one

As TedUSA perhaps knows that ship is partly 'organic' in the series. This ship really blow all other out of the water when I first saw it. I don't know, but perhaps the thing that all in B5 was computer generated helped these beautiful lines.

Another thing that I really liked in B5 was that the space craft flew as in real life, real physics not atmospheric battles in space.. And those Starfuries  really had some purpose for their X-wing shape, absolutely not Star Wars rip off..

Sorry to disappoint you all, but I have decals for scheme ( they did not came with the model):

look cool though, I imagine it's going to very effective,
especially in front of a Nebula backdrop [wink]

aww B5. I loved that show. I loved how they would at least attempt some real physics in the ship vs. ship fights. I remember watching the White Stars come in for a strafing run on a larger ship, and when they passed, they would just flip 180 (while still flying original direction) and keep firing away.

I mean, who could forget this scene?

Ivanova is a badass [smile]

I agree with choppa. If Bob gives you one week less then that would make it fair. Interesting choice. B5 was an odd show, dont think it really knew what it wanted to be. But it did give us some unique designs. Looking forward to seeing how you tackle it.

I really don't mind if I get disqualified, my purpose is to get this done. And the pressure is greater if my build is public ...and to entertain anyone who happens to watch my thread.

Great video (not the quality) about Whitestar in action..

Here is my collection:
[Babylon5-800]

I realized that I haven't seen the 'movies' as many times as the whole series.. hmm

Ivanova was ok, I didn't quite understood her well enough. I'm boring as my favorite was Londo (with G'Kar). I think B5 knew what it was quite well, the spin off (Crusade) was what TV network thought people wanted and it was terrible.. Everyone has their favorite shows, nice to see that there is someone else that has same opinion as I, in here! And great if other likes at least shows ship designs!

"I really don't mind if I get disqualified"

I would mind, it would seem a bit draconian to disqualify you for sticking two bits together,
especially after you "re kitted" it like a true sportsman and had to glue it all back together again [smile]
Plus I'm subscribed to this build but I guess it wouldn't hurt to finish a week early then no one can mind [smile]

Great video PanzergrauArts, most amusing [smile]
I liked it for the spaceships, mostly because I was just getting into 3D
graphics at the time and was a good source of inspiration for me.
Plus it had a character named after a biscuit [biggrin]

Ha, ha! Nice to have so peaceful atmosphere in here!

And my other 'projects' are also very peaceful as you can see:

[WIP-800]

This wasn't my main project as I started and the bad resin quality really lowered my inspiration. But now as you are following my build I _really_  have to have some progress with Whitestar too, although other projects somehow seems to require something too..

Those Storm Troopers would go well in a dio [smile]

Yeah too right, get on with it [biggrin]

Anyhow, I think I'm going to watch the series again, it has been a few decades after all [smile]

I'll have to watch the series too for the reference.. I tried to watch it on background but it didn't work, it required too much attention.

Those Imperial Assault Storm Troopers are too busy hunting those rebel scums to stay in diorama!

I got bored with that bad quality resin, so I tried to have some progress with the white metal. My first confrontation with that stuff..  Now I know why manufacturers name is Warp. I had some warped parts and I tried to correct that. First thing was to bend it to straight, but it broke and the next thing I tried was to heat with candle and that was equal disaster:
[007_Warp_shadow_killer_guns-800]

Otherwise the cleaning went well as metal was very soft.
