Here you are, other than white metal parts dry fitted together:

Some huge gaps, but I'm going to assemble parts first and then correct things as they appear one by one. The painting and filing is going to be interesting after corrections.

cheers bud [smile]

it does like a creature that under went some bizarre evolutionary changes,

for a kit with so few parts it is deceptively tricky to get it all together properly,
you seem to be overcoming everything with skill though, looking good [smile]

Hard work trying to make mirror finish from surface primer, but I think I managed to do good enough job for decals. Undersides are now sanded, glossed and polished. After all that I panted some veins that are supposed to be under decals.

[022_Warp_shadow_killer_vein_start-800]

I used Tamiya dark gull grey for the veins as it is RLM75 to my eye.. One part has different kind of vein pattern as I tried something different on that.. I guess it can't be noticed under the decal.

Next the same for the other side: sanding, glossing and polishing..

I can see that effect working well with the decals for getting that depth to the surface

At least some progress again, only one part is now without those veins:

[023_Warp_shadow_killer_vein_second-800]

It was quite laborious work. But most is now done, so I can join some more parts..

This is looking good !
surface finish looks very smooth and I'm loving the organic feel of the veins
once the decals go over them it will really give a nice sense of depth to the surface.

Looking forward to the final reveal on this one [smile] [thumb]

As I mentioned before those parts don't fit together too fine:

[024_Warp_shadow_killer_gaps-800]

Some Milliput filler which doesn't shrink:
[026_Warp_shadow_killer_filling2-800]
And some more for other parts:
[025_Warp_shadow_killer_filling1-800]

And for back too:
[027_Warp_shadow_killer_filling3-800]

I don't know where is the problem in those parts, but as this is 'partly living' ship those steps which are now different in size than supposed to be are accepted. I think they are accepted becouse there are some much bigger variation between same species of animals too..

Some sanding  is still needed and after that the interesting part: to paint those sections as I used the mat primer. And especially polishing and painting veins to them.

good work with the filler. I know you can restore the paint---go for it! no choice, right?

Tricky business dude ! I think this why I have tended to steer away from resin kits, well, that and the price [smile]
Good work though, you seem very much on top of it [thumb] [smile]
